Arrowhead Bottled Water

Question:
Anyone know how Arrowhead brand bottled water rates on hardness? I used to run tap water through a water softener filter inside my Silvia reservoir, but found that bottled water without the filter make superior espresso. I'm worried about long temp scale build up without the filter. I backflush and floss regularly.

Answer: You can get hardness test strips at any swimming pool supply store and find out for yourself. Keep reading the fine print on the bottles because some of the name brand waters use more than one source (spring) and the hardness of the springs may vary

Sorry. You're right. At least since Perrier bought them out, the Arrowhead brand is only spring water. It's filtered for microbes and other dangerous impurities, but not minerals.
