Question: Tell me about your cats water habits. Does your baby like to play with water or watch you while in the bath/shower? My Tiara is forever starring at me while I'm in the bath, but hates water! Do you bath your cat? Do you think there is a need to? If you do how often, and what do you use?
Answer: Funny you should ask that one. I had a bath before work this morning and I left the door open for my 'kids' to come in. Before I drew my bath I told my hubby and son about my last cats, Sis and Squirt, and how Squirt used to sit on the side of the bath and watch me. Sis would only sit on the floor by the tub. But Squirt would sit there and play with my toes through the bubbles. I would lie back and soak and he just hung around until he knew I was ready to get out. He would relax so much that his tail would drop into the water. He didn't notice until I got up and he ran away licking his tail as he ran. Rocky and Lady have just started going upstairs to our bedrooms and bathroom. They have explored mine and Terry's bedroom and our boy's room. They played around in the bathroom but left before I got in. I called and called them while I was in there and Terry said they were eating one time and playing another. Just as I pulled the plug and was getting out they came bounding in. Lady tried to jump to the tub from the toilette and I caught her. (I didn't wanted her petrified of water for life, because I do bath my cats when they are old enough.) As I was leaving they were playing with the bubble bath bottle I just emptied. It was clear and I had put water in it to get the last of the liquid out and it was full of bubbles and they were going nuts trying to get the bubbles.
