Just got back from a short trip to Wally-World where I noticed that the price of their "Great Value" bottled water jumped $0.07 per bottle. About two weeks ago, it was a mere $0.50 per gallon. Now it's $0.57 per gallon.

I wonder how long it will be before WalMart starts charging ten times that for a gallon?

Answer: It's a conspiracy, I tell you! Just like that other feller who noticed they raised the price of 30/30 ammo. . .they're out to get the Y2K prep crowd by jacking up their prices so they make more money.

Besides, I noticed that Evian water was actually LOWER now. That means they're targeting buyers in the lower socio-economic levels because these tend to be the ones that would stock up on the "generic" brands.
