Question: I'm still looking for a source for this water feeder I've heard tell about. I had company Sunday and they freaked out when they saw Mozart in my kitchen sink drinking from the faucet. I need an alternative, fast. Any suggestions?
Answer: There is a cat drinking water fountain product. I believe it's a mail order thing, but I'd like to get one for our Mandatory. Besides having her own personal water bowl, she makes a huge mess trying to find the surface, tugging at the bowl and pawing the water surface. She has chronic renal failure, too, so its important she gets her water. Does anyone know where to find this? I guess they didn't like the idea of his paws in the litter box and then stepping on the kitchen counter tops where I was preparing their lunch. Actually I agree with them, and I too have lived with cats all my life but they never jumped on the kitchen table or countertops. Just this one because he wants the water from the sink. Bathrooms I don't care about, I'll leave him paper cups full of water in the sink, but the kitchen is another story. So I'm trying to find him something he'll drink from that I can put on the floor. Anyone else have any ideas? The Kitty Drinking Fountain is usually advertised toward the back of Cat Fancy Magazine. I think mine would love it, but haven't ordered one yet. Another alternative is to pretend to be shocked when company is over and Kitty is drinking out of the faucet
