Question: In terms of quality/taste of the water I'd say no (there's no difference). I'mnot sure which is better in terms of price/service. but poland has those kewl stackable bottles...
Answer: A couple wirtes: Belmont Springs is local. Either they bought PolandSprings or the other way around about 5 years ago. I don't know if theystill deliver ME water in PS bottles and MA water in BS bottles or not. And in general: the laws governing quality of spring water are prettylenient. You run the risk of getting a variety of contaminants whichnever could appear in municipal water supplies. Suggest you call both for prices and terms and ask if they'lldeliver a sample of the water to taste. this will give yousome idea of their customer service, too. You may also want to check the price of a good water filter foryour whole house or the kitchen sink tap. Look at the cost on aper 1000 gallons basis. Don't forget the cost of the plumber toinstall it. I say there is a difference and I say Poland Spring is better. BelmontSpring has a funny aftertaste, IMO. Belmont water comes out of a hole in the ground in Belmont, up thehill from the old Peter Fuller Dodge/Isuzu dealership. Poland Springswater comes out of a hole in the ground in Poland Springs, Maine, abazillion miles from nowhere with nothing nearby except the old PolandSprings hotel for those who prefer to take the waters in situ. I knowwhich one I'd prefer.
