Question:
I purchased a water filter from QVC awhile back, & cannot find anyone whocarries replacement cartridges for it...QVC no longer carries this filter or thecartridges.

The brand is "Better-Than-Bottled Water Filtration System (Countertop Model)".

Would appreciate any info on where I might be able to find a replacementcartridge, or if anyone knows of any other brand cartridge that will fit in thisunit.

I'm guessing I'm out of luck - a word to the wise - if you buy a water filter,purchase a well known brand that you can easily find cartridges for!!!

Answer: QVC is famous for this. I would contact QVC and tell them that since you can'tget service for a product you purchased from them you want them to either buyback the water filter or locate a source for the filters. It's one thing thatthey buy closeouts but they should notify the customer of this.

I went through a similar experience. I bought a water filtera year ago for around $40 and I recently ran out of filters. I searchedhigh and low for replacement filters. No go. I ended up buying a Purwater filter and just to be sure I won't be screwed again when i need toreplace the filter, I bought four replacements. I will probably pick upsome more replacement filters when I see them go on sale.
