Question: The bottled water discussion peaked my interest. Who has the purest bottled water?? No floride, chlorine, heavy metals, etc.. I had heard Perrier was. Is this true?
Answer: Perrier is NOT a purified water AT ALL!! It is not even close to a *pure*water. This is not to say that it has bacteria in it; just that it has a lotof "junk" in it. *Most* imported bottled water does. For the *purest*bottled water, look for one marked "Purified", or "distilled" water. Eventhen, there is a lot of difference. Ask the supplier for an analysis -- theyshould be able to provide you with a very complete listing of what was tested, and what their results were. Caution: Drinking distilled water may be hazardous to your health. Your body *needs* the minerals in drinking water. (Besides, it makes*horrible* coffee - tried using it to eliminate the mineral build-up inmy coffee maker.) Exactly. My father drank only distilled water for about nine monthsbecause someone (who was trying to sell him a water distiller, btw--gofigure ) told him that it was the healthist thing to drink. Hewound up depriving his body of lots of important minerals anddeveloped almost crippling pains in his joints. These pains wentaway after a doctor talked him into drinking tap water again.
