Question: I'm thinking of buying a water cooler, I just started looking. I wouldlike to get some feedback. Pros and cons, which one do you think has thebest features, which one worst features, which one would you not buy, which one would you buy.
Answer: pro--distilled water is refreshingcons--distilled water has no fluoride so your teeth are in slightly worseshape, no extra minerals that help your body. takes a fair amount ofelectricity (maybe doesn't seem like much but considering its just forcooling water it is kinda a waste especially if you get one with heater).takes up a lot more space than your kitchen tap does. costs money to buythe jugs, takes time to haul them to and from the distiller unless you paymore for delivery. The jugs themselves are heavy though could be considereda pro if you call it excersise. Takes up lots of space if you want to keepmuch stock. Depending on your budget/lifestyle I'd almost consider a reverse osmosissystem instead if you are looking for purified water. Or alternatively ifyou are looking for the cold water aspect then I'd say just keep 1 jug andfill it with the tap--chlorine evaporates from water after a few hours onceit has left the tap. One with heater:pros--can make instant coffee/tea/oatmealcons--extra expense if you don't really *need* that and also if water levelgets too low can burn out element/one more thing that can go wrong. takesmore power One with coolerpros--cold water is refreshingcons--takes power to operate, can make your teeth cold if you have badfillings One with no cooler or heaterpros--very low costcons--not cool nor hot One with nightlightpros--water in the dark? could be ok I thinkcons--can help burglars find their way around your house One with caller idpros--who doesn't want to know who is calling while filling up their waterglasscons--can't talk easy while drinking water I'd buy one that just cools the water, all the other features areunnecessary IMO. Look to spend around $200. Don't rent one buy it.
