Question:
Is there chlorine in reverse osmosis water?i have a frog, and i use water with chemicals to remove the chlorine, but i also have a fish and instead of chemicals i use the RO water, and a plant. its really healthy for him and he loves it. can i use that RO water to put the shallow water in my pacman frogs tank? because the frog cant have chlorine. so is it ok to use the RO from the purifier at the store. i think it removes the chlorine but im not sure. thanks

Answer: RO water does not have any chemicals in it and is probably better for your frog than the treated water.

Reverse Osmosis uses filters and membranes to "squeeze" all the impurities out of the water. It does not use chlorine to purify. it will remove chlorine from city tap water
