Question: I have hard, chlorinated water which strips my blonde highlights likenothing else. I've tried my local Home Depot and Lowes and they don't haveshower head filters. I'm in a flat so I can't put a large filter on my watertank. Does anyone know where I could get a water filter, or which brands would begood?
Answer: I have one that I got at Home Depot in Mass is made by Paragon. I paid $19.99. I triedthe Culligan one but it cut down the water flow to a dribble. I would recommend this to anyone that has hard water and rents. Thefilters are $10 and I replace mine once every three months or so. Interesting products on that site. We've got a softener in our homeand it's great, but I was wondering if anyone has a softener in theirhome as well as one of those larger filters which do the whole house? Our hard-water here is drinkable, but instead of getting another watercooler rather than buying bottled water (the one I had *walked* after #2)that *might* be a worthwhile option...
