Anyone familiar with the MAYTAG WATER FILTER SYSTEMS? Or know how to file complaint about them?

bought a very expensive whole house unit water filter by MAYTAG in Dec. of 2005. it has not seemed to work right since I bought. was installed incorrectly at first. recently had it corrected. still don't seem to be doing like it should doI spent a large sum of money for this and think I should be able to sell it back or have it fixed right. what are my options
