I need some information on water purification systems. I had a coupleof guys from Hague Quality Water at my house yesterday, giving me a reallyhard sell on their $4500 whole-house system. They ran tests on mytap water, my Brita pitcher water, my bottle of Zephyrhills water, etc.and showed me how bad everything was, and how it is hurting my/my wife/my kid's health, and how we'd better buy this thing right away.

Anyone have any complaints about this company or their product? Isa whole-house system overkill? They claim that even showering in thetap water is dangerous.

Note: I am in South Florida, where the water is known to be prettybad...I just don't know how bad.

Answer: Get your water tested by an independent lab that does not sell watersystems. Then get bids from three people. There are many way to tacklewater problems, and they have a lot of variance in their prices.
