Answer: I should have been more clear. I meant the Ion Stablizedwater tablets as seen on:

which gets some good reviews on water purification. I was curiousabout it, and seeking other opinions/experiences.

I've seen the product you mention [I think] as it was promoted in thisarea last year. It was a tennis-ball size orb [I believe they calledit Magic Orb] with 'ionized something or other inside'. Used forwashing clothes without soap. It worked like crazy, except I repeatedthe experiement with a hard rubber-like ball with the same results.Any object bouncing around in the washer will improve aggitation.

At least it sounds like your ion ball....
