Question: I'd be glad of your help. I am moving to a third world country soon wherethe quality of drinking water is not as high as in the UK. Could you put me on to some suggestions as to how I might manage this.There is no mains supply. The expected supply is rainwater which needs to bestored. I realise that stored water attracts pathogens in a short space oftime.
Answer: May not be directly related to your question: -- In high risk places, visitors don't even use un-boiled water forbrushing teeth. -- Visitors probably won't drink cold water in restaurants, but at timesmay not relate the ice cubes to water. -- In high altitude countries, boiling point is below 100*C. Don't knowhow they tackle this.
