Well Water Filter

Question:
Our well water filter?

The last 2 days our water has been dripping (no joke) out of our faucets. I asked my boyfriend what was wrong and he said our filter is clogged. Is that the case? I can't take a shower or ever water the dog, wash clothes or anything. I was thinking that maybe it was just the water pressure, but it's not coming out at all at times. What could it be and how much does this cost to fix? I looked on-line, but the filters range from 150 - 3000. We have well water too. Keep that in mind. It's not a very big tank. Enough for 1 or 2 people to take showers with hot water.

Answer: There should be a "bypass" line near your filter. (two valves one on each side of the filter) close both of these and unscrew the bottom of the filter there should be a wrench hanging on the wall near the filter. Pull out old filter, and screw base back on. you will have water just not filtered. take old filter to home depot or other store get a new one and install. BUT this may not be the problem, im thinking that your well pump may be bad.
